Nintendo mines Minecraft for latest fighters added to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate video game
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate continues building a bigger roster. Steve and Alex, the default characters in the popular building simulation game, will soon be available for the Nintendo Switch fighting game. The characters are among the six included in the game's second downloadable Fighters Pass Vol. 2 ($29.99; or individual challenger packs priced at $5.99). Already, players can add Min Min from the game Arms; four others remain unannounced. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Director Masahiro Sakurai noted, in a video Nintendo posted Thursday, that the blocky characters provided some challenges in balancing the game for their battle techniques against other characters.
